With the move to late October come the extra considerations of festival-goers potentially creating havoc in the Avenues as kids get out of school on a Friday, and the culture clash of rowdy music fans and trick-or-treaters out with their parents.

Organizers of Outside Lands are doing a limited ticket release on Thursday morning for all those of you who never bought tickets when you had the chance — and weren't holding 2020 tickets that you never got to use.

Earlier this week we got the day-to-day lineups for this year's Outside Lands, which is happening over Halloween weekend instead of in August. And today at 10 a.m. the single-day tickets went on sale — and they went fast.

This year's Halloween edition of Outside Lands (brrr!) is forging ahead with single-day ticket sales and assuming that the state and city of SF are going to allow big outdoor festivals by then (they still haven't committed to doing so), we have the daily lineups now.

The organizers of Outside Lands teased some sort of big announcement on Monday, and now they've released the news as of Thursday. The festival is being postponed once more, but this time just for two extra months (and change).

As breaks from the monotony of Netflix and meals at home go, the two day Inside Lands virtual festival came off fairly well, and included some live performances that made it feel like a special gift amid an otherwise pretty dismal August.

The virtual version of Outside Lands, dubbed Inside Lands, will be airing this Friday and Saturday on Twitch — with organizers hoping that it reminds concertgoers how much they love the Golden Gate Park festival, and pushes them to purchase tickets for next year.
