The Battle Of The Sans
OK, after battling back against the Raiders and winning the Battle Of The Bay, the Niners face a much starker task: lining up against a team that is running on all cylinders.
The knock on the San Diego SuperChargers is that for all their talent, the team is hamstrung by Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer's conservative approach and at-times questionable decision process. All of this has immediate historical weight: San Diego was one of the the highest-ranked teams not to make the playoffs last year.
