- San Jose police confirmed Tuesday that 42-year-old Jared Lorenzo, the father of the three-year-old girl found dead in a recycling facility there, is a suspect in her death. Lorenzo was found dead of suicide in San Francisco on Friday, and the girl's body was discovered shortly after, but it remains unclear where the killing actually took place. [KTVU]
- SF Supervisors Hillary Ronen and Aaron Peskin are in a fight over a ballot measure that Ronen says is fiscally irresponsible, and it has led to Ronen quitting her role on the board's Rules Committee.
