Another milestone arrives this week in the construction of what will be SF's tallest building, Salesforce Tower, as the first of its curtain wall panels began to be installed on the lower floors. Above is a brief video from Instagram picked up by Curbed SF, showing one glass panel being hoisted into place on Tuesday, just as the up above construction continues on the tower's upper half.

Remember when the foundation was just being poured back in November? You can watch the live construction cam and see a time-lapse of its rise here.

As you can see in the photo below, taken this afternoon, the tower is now as tall or taller than most of its neighbors, and a couple dozen floor plates are in place. Ultimately the building will be 61 stories tall, or 1,070 feet, making it the seventh tallest building in the country. It's expected to be complete in 2018, with Salesforce occupying 714,000 square feet in the bottom 30 stories of the building. Should you be interested in leasing one of the upper stories for your burgeoning company, you should contact them here.
