Home restaurant once occupied a triangular parcel at the intersection of Market and Church at 2100 Market, but after that closed in 2011, getting someone or something on the premises — other than squatters or, far more upsetting to many, a proposed Chipotle — has been difficult. In part delays have been due to numerous redesigns, the last in February and the one before it a year before that. Now we've got a new one via SocketSite, so keep up to date if you can.

Rumors began to swirl of a planned seven story building starting in 2014, and finally, in February of this year, plans for just such a structure were approved. 62 Units of housing was predicted from Brian Spiers Development, a firm who led the Linea development at 1998 Market .

But, the first redesign, said SFist commenter Memo-san, and surely heeding his advice another redesign arrived. That's below.

That didn't do it either and the final, or most recent, design is up at the top of this post, top. It accounts fos for 60 apartments, of which 6 will be studios, 30 one-bedrooms, and 24 two-bedrooms. Iterating on the last design, bay columns are organized in a more haphazard looking way and Juliet windows with their tiny Verona style veranda balconies are in store. There were previously ground floor living units but those have now become retail space

While building permits aren't yet in, it will take 20 months to develop the project once begun.
