Put on your headphones, kids. The great Aretha Franklin has a new album coming out, and she's covered one of the great diva ballads of the last decade, Adelle's "Rolling In the Deep." It's a pretty great, foot-stomping, wailing version and Adele is probably crapping her pants with joy at this right about now.

Also, the track turns into this crazy gospel medley with "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." The single can now be procured from iTunes.

72-year-old Franklin's new album of covers, Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics, drops on October 21. On it she also sings Etta James's "At Last," Sinead O'Connor/Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U," and Alicia Keys's 2007 hit "No One."
