After the announcement this afternoon that same sex marriages would begin immediately in California, the city will open the clerk's office in city hall until 8 p.m. Friday night and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Pride Weekend.
The clerk's office was already "hopping" around 5:20 p.m. Friday, and with the official Pride festivities happening right outside of city hall in Civic Center plaza, this would make for a lovely and historic occasion to get your marriage license formalities taken care of.
