Positive news in SFPD's war on the recent knife crime epidemic: at least one stabby criminal has been taken off the streets now that 45-year-old Howard Frazier has been arrested in connection with the February 15th stabbing of a retired merchant marine seaman in the Bayview.

According to the District Attorney's office, Frazier will be charged with first-degree murder in the knifing that that left 54-year-old Luther Robinson bleeding out on Mendell Street. Robinson later died at San Francisco General Hospital. No word yet on what drove the two middle aged men to engage in knifeplay.
