Our extra-stabby city can claim yet another non-fatal stabbing incident over the weekend to go with this fatal one in the Mission: An unidentified male victim leaving a convenience store on Sixth Street near Market was stabbed by another man after refusing to give his attacker five dollars.
Allegedly the assailant said, "You should have gave me what I asked for" after stabbing the victim in the thigh. This all happened around 1:30 a.m. last Wednesday.
This albeit minor incident follows on a series of stabbings in recent weeks, including one that claimed the life of a 54-year-old man in the Bayview and this past weekend's Julian Street incident that claimed the life of another man, marking the city's seventh and eighth homicides of the year.
