You've already read about her. (And if you haven't, you should!) Isn't it time you heard her live? Yes. Yes, it is. We're talking about Veronica Klaus, one of the Bay Area's finest soul singers. Join Klaus and her trio as they help ring in the New Year with a heart-turning, humorous jazz and cabaret show. Best of all, Klaus will help inaugurate a new performance space at the Hotel Nikko, R2, the new performance space at the RRazz Bar and Lounge area.
This is the kind of show to which you would want to bring a date. And shower beforehand. And sport your finest duds. If you yearn to have a Mission-based New Year's Eve featuring a bevy of women puking on Valencia Street, then... head over to the Mission and watch as women pour forth their gin-soaked dinners. (Also fun, by the way! Just, you know, a different kind of New Year's revelry.) Anyway.
We saw Klaus perform in November. Her show was stunning, searing, and went by way too fast. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Go. See it. Do it.
