TALK: Back in the headlines with an intriguing will-he-or-won't-he-buy-SF-Chronicle story, Craig Newmark -- founder of Craigslist and destroyer of the oxygen of democracy (hahaha!) -- will speak tonight. About what? Well, he'll chat about "the web and social change, net neutrality and government transparency, education, and political causes like supporting veterans and building a stable environment for peace on the West Bank." Whew. Also there will be a wine reception with Craig to following the discussion. (Note to Newmark: Easy on the wine so you don't lose you glasses again.)
