The rain held out just long enough for the march from Dolores Park to arrive and the speakers and performers to get through the rally. Thousands upon thousands were there, though it seemed smaller than both last year's anniversary and the inauguration protest. We figure that's because people feel that pretty powerless in the face of an administration stubbornly refusing to consider criticism or admit mistakes. That said, what was also demonstrated was how the larger antiwar movement is really a coalition of an otherwise divided camp on the left. SFist wants to say something here about the how this is because single-issue advocacy will always fail to improve the conditions of the world's working class as a whole, but that's because we're a big Red.
