  • The SF District Attorney today filed charges against the two Navigation Center workers accused of harboring a shooting suspect who allegedly shot at and injured an SFPD officer in May. 45-year-old Erika Porter of Oakland and 36-year-old Oliver Barcenas of San Francisco have each been charged with obstructing or delaying arrest and a felony count of accessory after the fact.   • One of the sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, which is now on its way home after a lengthy deployment in the Middle East, found out that his father was recently detained by ICE in Florida. [New York Times]
  • Trump has escalated the trade war with Canada again, threatening 50% tariffs on Canadian-made cars and other goods, and Canada is enacting retaliatory tariffs. [CNN]
  • California Attorney General Rob Bonta said he'd called off a meeting with Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison, regarding Paramount's proposed merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, after it appeared that Paramount had leaked key details of their negotiation with the state to the Wall Street Journal. [Chronicle]
