A man was stabbed Monday night on an alley off Sixth Street in SF's SoMa, and his injuries were said to be life-threatening.
The stabbing occurred around 10:15 pm Monday on the 400 block of Stevenson Street, an alley that runs parallel to Market Street between 5th and 6th streets. As Bay City News reports, the victim is a 42-year-old male who was hospitalized with critical injuries, and his current condition is not known.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene and remains at large. Police did not release a description of the suspect, only that he is a male in his 40s.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the SFPD tip line at 415-575-4444, or text a tip to TIP411 and begin the message with “SFPD.” Tipsters can remain anonymous.
