While Fat Joe may be the headliner of the event, Vallejo native E-40 is also on the card for a Friday rally for Joe Biden in swing state North Carolina after Thursday night’s highly anticipated presidential debate.
We’re just hours out from Thursday night’s Biden vs. Trump presidential debate on CNN (6pm PT), and the Biden-Harris campaign is concerned that historically Black voters are disinterested, tuned out, or find the whole presidential race to just be dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. So in an attempt to shore up the Black vote, Axios reports the Biden will head to North Carolina for a Friday rally, which will feature rapper and Vallejo native E-40.

Technically, rapper Fat Joe is billed as the headliner for the event. But Joe Biden and wife Jill are both scheduled to be there, though it is unclear if either E-40 or Fat Joe will perform. The rally is scheduled for 12 noon ET in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“Fat Joe and E-40 are both legends of the music industry, who understand the importance of utilizing their platforms to ensure their fan base understands the stakes of this election,” the Biden campaign said in a statement.
E-40 had previously met with Biden when he joined the Golden State Warriors’ visit to the White House following their 2022 NBA championship.
Personally, we think they should have also scheduled Compton product YG for the rally too, based on the (very profane!) single below. YG happens to be starting a tour, and will be playing Oakland’s Fox Theater on Saturday, July 6, where fans will surely be clamoring for this number.
In other Vallejo-related music news, today happens to be the birthday of Vallejo native H.E.R. She turns 27 today.
