There was a stabbing Monday afternoon shortly before 4 pm on a Muni bus in the Mission District, and while the victim does not face life-threatening injuries, the suspect has not been apprehended.

KRON4 brings the news that there was a stabbing on a Muni bus Monday afternoon at approximately 3:40 pm. The incident happened at 18th and Mission streets, though SFPD has not disclosed the bus line on which the incident happened.

But SFPD did note that when they arrived on the scene, the unnamed victim had multiple stab wounds.

Officials noted that the victim had suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and KTVU described that attack as a “non-fatal stabbing.”

Police also added that the suspect had last been seen near 24th and Mission streets, but provided no further detail.
