• A murder suspect in Oakland, being held in connection with a vehicular homicide, allegedly killed a woman for vandalizing his car. Oakland resident Marcus Davis is accused of running over the woman multiple times at Foothill Boulevard and Miller Avenue after seeing her do something to his car. [KTVU]
  • A Palo Alto woman who had gone missing while hiking with friends in the southern Sierra in Fresno County has been found safe. 49-year-old Jolly Bose had been near Kaiser Pass, above Huntington Lake, and she was found after two nights spent in the snow about four miles away. [ABC 30]
