It felt like Mars or Blade Runner 2049 in San Francisco on Wednesday, and while today's not much better it is slightly different.
KRON4 went to SFO to talk to incoming travelers about what it felt like landing in that orange haze yesterday. "I’m used to the smog overlay. I see that all the time, but this definitely has a different feel to it," said one traveler from Southern California.
But what did it actually look like as you flew up above the clouds and the smoke? Below is a video that shows some of that from a wing-mounted camera, courtesy of SFO, and yes, it quickly became less orange as the plane ascended.

And for good measure, here's drone footage of SF yesterday set to the soundtrack from Blade Runner 2049.
