  • BART's Board of Directors issued a special commendation today for 22-year-old nursing student Sophia Humphrey, for her compassionate actions following a fatal stabbing last month on a BART train in Hayward.   • A tearful juror in the trial of Tiffany Li and Kaveh Bayat says "two murderers are free today." The jury acquitted Li and hung on Bayat's guilt, and the DA's office announced today that charges against Bayat have been dropped. [KRON4]
