- A mass illness that affected 50 children at Malcolm X Elementary School in Berkeley on Thursday remains unidentified. Authorities have been investigating, but no one can figure out what may have caused all the children to experience dizziness, nausea, and headaches. [Berkeleyside]
- San Francisco police were investigating a possible kidnapping in Noe Valley on Friday. A witness described seeing a "physical altercation" at the intersection of Noe and Clipper streets, and said it appeared to be a kidnapping. [NBC Bay Area]
- Supervisor Vallie Brown is warning attendees of tomorrow's 420 festivities not to buy black-market weed at the fest. Some of what was being sold at last year's 420 was laced with fentanyl, and there were 10 to 12 fentanyl overdoses as a result. [CBS SF]
