We've got the rest of the announcements now from "Reveal Week" at the Chase Center, and they include professional wrestling, the guy who wrote "Sussudio," and the objectively terrible Chainsmokers.
Yes, The Chainsmokers are coming on November 29, and I guess this is what we deserve now that we have a concert venue to rival Oracle Arena.
But Phil Collins, guys! He'll be playing on October 17 as part of his Not Dead Yet, Live! tour. Tickets for that show go on sale next Friday, March 29, and Citi cardholders can register for a pre-sale starting tomorrow (Sunday).
The WWE's Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live are going to be hitting the arena at some unspecified dates in the fall.
Then on December 5, Andrea Bocelli will be gifting San Francisco with his mellifluous tenor stylings, alongside the San Francisco Symphony and a full chorus, so that should be a thing. Tickets for that holiday season extravaganza go on sale April 15, with a pre-sale for Chase cardholders on April 8.
We also now have a date for the Warriors' first pre-season game at the shiny new 18,064-seat arena: October 5. And they'll playing against the Los Angeles Lakers for their first outing on the new court. The on-sale date for those tickets is TBA.
As we learned earlier this week, the Chase Center's inaugural concert on September 6 will feature Metallica playing with the San Francisco Symphony, and that will be followed by The Dave Matthews Band on September 10. The Black Keys will be playing with Modest Mouse as an opening act on November 20.
