The dog who fouled up BART commutes two weeks ago is now up for adoption.
Oakland Animal Services shared an adoption listing for the disruptive doggo, whom they've taken to calling "Bart," which just seems appropriate. It's a bit of a sad tale in a way, as Bart originally had a collar on when he was captured on a BART track near the Fruitvale station.

Rebecca Katz, OAS director, told the Chron at the time that they had hoped someone would come forward to claim the dog. Sadly, nobody has. But Bart is in good health, according to SFGate, and is just looking for a new family.
Bart's description on the OAS adoption website is truly something to behold, as well. It reads:
Bart here! Have you heard of me? I'm famous! I'm the one that caused an impressive delay on BART during commute hours. Sheesh- what a guy has to do get some attention around here!It was really just a stint to get someone to scratch my belly. And it worked! The volunteers can't get enough of me- they love getting kisses, having me climb into their laps, giving me belly rubs and butt scratches, and I love them back! Even though I'm getting so much love here, I'm looking for a forever family of my own. I promise to never go on the BART tracks again!
I'm looking for a home without children under the age of 12. Come meet me if you're looking to add a loving (and famous!) guy to your family!
If you're interested in adopting the "famous" pup, then you should head over to Bart's OAS adoption site to check out more images and a video. Then, check out OAS' "How to adopt" section to find out more about the adoption process.
