San Francisco Police are investigating an odd incident, they say, after a burnt stroller was left in front of a Mission District residence.

Police were called to the strange scene ay 5:20 p.m. Thursday, on Maxwell Court inside the Valencia Gardens housing development between 14th, 15th, Valencia, and Guerrero Streets.

When officers arrived, a 33-year-old woman told them that when she came home, she "found a burned stroller near her unit."

During the investigation, police spoke with the victim's neighbor, who "said that she saw the stroller on fire and put it out."

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the neighbor did not see the suspect, so no description is available, nor has any motive behind the burnt baby buggy been been publicly announced. As of publication time, no arrests have been made on the case.
