Between eight and 13 construction workers are being treated for injuries this morning after a part of a construction site on Oakland's Auto Row collapsed at 9:35 a.m. As ABC 7 reports, no one was killed, and all the injuries appear to be minor — they put the number at 13 injuries, however other sources are reporting lower numbers.

Oakland police tell ABC 7 that "workers were pouring concrete under the floor or wall that collapsed," and helicopter images show the one collapsed section of the larger development.

NBC Bay Area reports that eight construction workers "fell into wet cement at the site."

The Chronicle reports that the development, with an entrance on the 300 block of Hawthorne Street where the collapse occurred, is one of the biggest currently under construction with 435 apartments slated to be a part of it. It's situation on the site of a former Chevrolet dealership at 3093 Broadway, near 580, and a piece of the project is preserving the facade of the dealership facing Broadway where there will be a historic showroom of Chevy vehicles.
