A 42-year-old woman in Mount Shasta, in Siskiyou County, is accused of having unlawful sex with three teenage boys, all of them football players at Mount Shasta High School. Mary Frances Fletcher, who goes by Debbie, was arrested Tuesday following a months-long criminal investigation, and as Oregon's NBC 5 reports, she's charged with four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and one count of dissuading a witness.

The New York Daily News further explains that Fletcher was charged Thursday with single counts of sexual intercourse with two of the boys, and two counts with one, and her text messages are being looked at to see what she did to try to silence them.

She apparently met the three football players while working with the team's photographer, and no one at the high school was aware of her contact with the players.

Siskiyou Union High School District Superintendent Mike Matheson gave a statement to the LA Times saying, "We take allegations of misconduct against our students and the youth of our communities seriously and remain committed to ensuring that every student in our district is able to learn and thrive in a healthy, safe environment supported by the community."

And District Attorney Kirk Andrus tells the Daily News, "Ya know, these cases are always challenging. I mean especially for a young person that are [sic] by definition not prepared for this kind of relationship. Relationship is probably the wrong word but they’re not prepared for this kind of interaction with an adult."

I'll just leave that alone.
