The anonymous Bernal Heights resident who for several years running has imported some snow to Precita Park and installed a snowman there was back at it this weekend. Twitterers like the one above documented the melting man — melting despite the fact that this was SF's coldest Christmas in 18 years, because the low was but 41 degrees.

This year, the snowman doubles as a Hanukkah treat as well.

And once again, this is a nice thing. As Bernalwood says, "no matter how hard this year may have been, the Seasonal Deities nevertheless saw fit to reward us for our neighborly virtue."
