An Outer Sunset woman was awakened by some curious prowlers Monday — mysterious thieves who raided her garage for camping equipment.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the heist went down at around 5:40 a.m. Monday, at a home on the 1200 block of 25th Avenue, which is near Lincoln Way and Golden Gate Park.
The 50-year-old female victim was awakened by "noise coming from her garage," police say. When she investigated, she realized that someone had broken into the structure, stealing multiple tents and sleeping bags that she had stored in the garage.
Police don't have any details on the suspects, saying only that they fled in an "unknown direction." As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made in the case.
