Forecasters are warning that we'll see a lot of soggy ghosts and goblins tonight, as a new storm is expected to hit the Bay Area this afternoon and evening.
Though showers predicted for Sunday had cleared up by midday, the National Weather Service predicts a second round of wet weather tonight.
“We’ll see widespread showers with the slight possibility of thunderstorms,” NWS meteorologist Anna Schneider tells the Chron, which reports that SF is expected to get about one-tenth to a quarter-inch of rain tonight.
CBS 5 reports that the moderate to heavy rains should begin in the North Bay today, then will travel into SF and Oakland in late afternoon, hitting the Santa Clara Valley and Santa Cruz tonight.
The Chron reports that "The system will be fast-moving, and precipitation amounts are expected to decrease further south and in the inland valleys." So, hey, maybe we won't get that damp. But better bring that umbrella just in case — lord knows, we don't want Jay's zombie bride getup to get all runny and wet.
