Hillary Clinton lands back in SF Wednesday for a fundraising luncheon co-hosted by actress and yogurt shill Jamie Lee Curtis and Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards. Perhaps because of the participation of the latter, the location for the luncheon was not publicly announced, as KRON 4 reports.
We do know, however, that a seat at the luncheon with the presumptive Democratic nominee and the star of Scream Queens is costing donors between $500 and $27,000, according to Clinton’s campaign.
If you're a Clinton supporter and want to help get out the vote on her behalf, you can sign up as a volunteer this weekend at the Fillmore Jazz Festival, where the Clinton campaign will have a table. Or, rather, as they explain here, "We'll set up on Fillmore St. at the South East corner of Sacramento St. Look for our ironing boards set up on the sidewalk."
The Fillmore Jazz Festival runs both Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Also, we learned this week that President Obama will join Clinton for the first time on the campaign trail next week in North Carolina. As the New York Times reports, Clinton's campaign sees North Carolina as a possible swing state and a way to expand the electoral map won by Obama in 2012. Obama is expected to appear with Clinton in more key states, and was scheduled to appear with her in Wisconsin two weeks ago before that event was canceled in the wake of the Orlando shooting.
