The man who fell from a second deck railing in Oracle Arena following Game 7 of the NBA finals Sunday remains in intensive care, the victim of rival fans who shoved him over the edge.

As previously reported, a press release sent by the Golden State Warriors organization Sunday evening read that "following tonight's basketball game, it was reported that there was a post-game altercation between fans that resulted in one individual falling over a railing."

That individual, KRON 4 reports, is 21-year-old husband and father of two Salvador Bimbo, who remains in the intensive care unit of Oakland's Highland Hospital after he was reportedly pushed from the second deck to the first deck near Section 220 of Oracle Arena.

“My son came from Los Angeles to come see the Warriors game,” Bimbo's father Ronnie told KRON 4.

“It was his dream to come to see a Warriors playoff game. My son’s dream turned into a nightmare.”

According to the senior Bimbo, Salvador was caught in the middle of a fight that broke out at the conclusion of the game, and started to record it. That's when "somebody picked him up from his legs and pushed him over while he was recording," Bimbo says.

After falling 50 feet, Bimbo says that “My son’s cheekbone is smashed, his nose, his upper-eye, his head, his brain. He’s leaking from his ears blood. Not very good. He’s a beautiful young man. Did not deserve this.”

Oakland Police Department spokesperson Johnna Watson confirms that as of this morning, no arrests have been made in the case, and the suspects remain at large. Salvador's grandfather, who is also at his bedside, begs anyone with information on the assault to contact police.

"This is for protection of your family, too," his grandfather says. "Please send pictures or information that you might have" to OPD's Assault Unit at 510-238-3426.
