A man police say has made a habit of threatening officers with the San Francisco Police Department is at it again, this time saying that he will retaliate against police use of force.

According to SFPD's daily report of notable incidents, a 29-year-old man they say is "known to the Police Department for prior verbal threats" called the Mission Police Station at 7:45 yesterday morning.

When an officer answered the phone, the caller allegedly said that "he would start shooting police if he hears of another officer involved shooting in San Francisco."

Despite their apparent awareness of the man's identity, the caller was not arrested, according to the police report. A call to SFPD for more details on the incident was not returned at publication time.
