The San Francisco Klansman who last Saturday stabbed three counter-protesters when a fight broke out at a Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim lives in San Francisco's Marina district with his mother. Charles Donner, who was initially arrested at the anti-immigration rally but then released after police determined that he was acting in self-defense, is 51 years old.

According to SF Weekly
, Donner lives in a house across from the Palace of Fine Arts and has a penchant for collecting Nazi memorabilia. He is reportedly a registered security guard, although the publication notes that it was unable to reach Donner for comment.

Donner was apparently left behind by the black SUV that drove him to the rally, after protesters began to attack the car.

"Regardless of an individual or groups’ beliefs or ideologies, they are entitled to live without the fear of physical violence and have the right, under the law, to defend themselves when attacked," a police statement, reported by OC Weekly, says of the KKK rally. The paper further notes that none of the Klan members involved in the brawl are in custody, while 7 counter-protesters remain in custody.

Video of the fight can be seen below. Warning: It's extremely brutal.
