Eight of Budweiser's iconic band of horses, the Clydesdales, made an appearance Thursday in SF, doing a little parade down part of Market Street pulling an empty beer wagon, and many tourists and FiDi workers were delighted, as ABC 7 reports.

Newsman Wayne Freedman got the gig, and marveled at the fact that people on the street actually knew some of the horses names as they marched toward Super Bowl City and posed for pictures with police.

And, of course, were this the way Budweiser still delivered their beer, they could have avoided a situation like this one, but I digress.

Not to be a spoilsport, but what's that about the city paying for this watery-beer-promoting dog and pony show?
