Hello? Can you hear me? In addition to doing six nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and six nights at L.A.'s Staples Center, Adele announced a North American tour today that includes three nights in the Bay Area. And, good news, we get her first.

Starting in July, the "patron saint of basic bitches"/greatest vocalist alive today (depending on your perspective) will be kicking off her tour in Minneapolis-St. Paul and swinging through Chicago, Denver, Vancouver, and Seattle before she comes here.

Adele, who hasn't been to the Bay Area in over four years, will be hitting San Jose's SAP Center on July 30 and 31, followed by one night at Oakland's Oracle Arena on August 2. (You'll recall that though she was a pretty big star around the time of her last tour, which had to be rescheduled due to laryngitis, she only played one date here, at the much tinier Greek Theatre in Berkeley.)

Tickets for the San Jose shows range from $39.95 to $149.50, plus taxes and fees. And tickets for the Oakland show range from $41.50 to $157.00, plus taxes fees.

Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster on Thursday, December 17, at 10 a.m.

In the meantime...
