In case you missed it, Treasure Island Music Fest returns this weekend for two pretty mellow days of shows on two stages that don't overlap thus, no running around or stressing about what you're missing. And, there are still one- and two-day passes available, so you don't have to stress about that (but this fest has been one to sell out at the last minute before, as people watch the weather). Check out our quick and dirty guide to the fest from last year, if you've never been.
In addition to the music lineup this year, Funny or Die is sponsoring/curating a comedy tent for the first time, kind of along the lines of the Barbary tent at Outside Lands which had some pretty big names in it this year.
The comedy tent at TI is called The Blah Blah Blah, and this year will feature the likes of Jonah Ray (co-host of The Nerdist Podcast), Tim Heidecker (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Max Silvestri of New York's Big Terrific, local funny man Guy Branum, and the very funny Bryan Safi and Erin Gibson of the web series Throwing Shade.
Below, the complete lineup, which you'll want to consider as you build your schedule for the two-day fest and yes, this means that there will be comedy shows conflicting with music shows, presenting the first possibility of FOMO in the history of this fest. Ah well. And don't worry, it all ends before CHVRCHES goes on.
