Remember how Emmy's Spaghetti Shack is moving? Well, tonight will be its last night in its longtime home at Virginia and Mission, and it's set to reopen in its new digs at 3230 Mission Street (a.k.a. the former El Zocalo. As Bernalwood reports, the notice just went up, and the new Emmy's will open either on Friday or Saturday.

As we see from Facebook, it will look something like this. The new location is set to have an expanded wine list as well as a late-night menu.

As owner Emily Kaplan earlier said, the decision to move to the larger space was all about the restaurant's ongoing popularity, 13 years in. "The current location of the Shack is over capacity, the lines are long and we’re constantly turning away large parties."

Therefore you have one night only to get back to experience the eclectic charms of the existing Emmy's, which for some probably holds a lot of meatball memories dating back to the early aughts.

The soon-to-be-former Emmy's space at 18 Virginia will remain in Kaplan's hands, and as of a couple months back she was still undecided about what to do with it — she took suggestions on Facebook, hinting that "Burgers are what we feel is missing in Bernal."

Stay tuned.
