Brandy Ho's isn't the only restaurant we're saying goodbye to: according to recent reports, Noe Valley's Pasta Pomodoro and the Tenderloin's Burmese Kitchen are also closing their doors.

According to Noe Valley SF, the Pasta Pomodoro on 4000 24th Street (at Noe) closed "for good" Tuesday. The staffer NVSF spoke with told them that the owner of the building is apparently planning "major renovations" and that the restaurant isn't expected to reopen. Staff had only been told about the closure three days before, they report.

NVSF commenters were dismayed at the closure, saying that they were fans of the restaurant, with one sniping that "no doubt some trendy hipster expensive restaurant will come in" to take its place.

Speaking of spots where a "trendy hipster expensive restaurant" might be expected to replace a nabe fave, Burmese Kitchen has only been open for about six years at 453 Larkin Street (between Golden Gate and Turk), but chef-owner Dennis Lin swiftly garnered raves for his tea leaf salad, fish chowder, and pumpkin stew.

According to a note posted to their site, however, "due to the changing nature of San Francisco we are not being allowed to renew our lease at our current location."

Eater SF reports that you'll have until November 26 to get in there for one last roti, and Lin "hopes to do some pop-up nights or cook from another temporary space to keep the food coming."

Lin's also looking for another full-time location for Burmese Kitchen 2.0, Eater reports, but isn't sure where that will be as yet. On the Burmese Kitchen site, patrons are offered an option to stay abreast of where they land, as "we want to take all of you with us."
