A mid-afternoon shooting left one man dead in the Bayview Sunday, in what appears to be San Francisco's 29th homicide for 2014.
According to San Francisco Police Department spokesperson Officer Gordon Shyy, SFPD officers were called to the 200 block of Harbor Road on reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 20s who'd been shot in the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Shyy says.
Shyy says that no suspects are in custody, nor was any suspect information available. The victim has yet to be identified by the San Francisco Medical Examiner's office.
This homicide appears to be San Francisco's 29th of the year. The city's last homicide was on September 9, when a man was stabbed to death at 24th and Capp Streets. The suspect in that case hasn't been arrested, either.
