The San Francisco Police Department is seeking two suspects after a man was stabbed to death in the Mission District Tuesday night.

According to an SFPD spokesperson, police were called to the intersection of 24th and Capp Streets at 11:49 p.m. on Tuesday, where they discovered a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The San Francisco medical examiner's office says that authorities are still working to contact the victim's family, and will not be releasing his name until they have been notified.

According to the SFPD, witnesses say that two suspects, described only as men in their 20s, are responsible for the homicide. They have not been arrested as of Wednesday morning.
