Now you can fee like you're dropping the kids off on Muni with this "vintage 1960s San Francisco Muni solid wood toilet seat," and you won't even upset your fellow public transit riders. (Your roommates on the other hand, might feel differently.)

From the item's eBay listing:

“I left my heart in San Francisco” Vintage SF Muni toilet seat with lid / cover. Solid wood construction. Mounting hardware including rubber washers is part of the set. Shows little wear for its age. Some fading of color in spots. No cracks, checks or splits. Pretty standard toilet seat dimensions. [...] Would make a great CONVERSATION PIECE.

We're not sure who, exactly, buys a 50-plus-year-old toilet seat, regardless of how much they love to hang out on Muni after a good, strong cup of coffee in the morning. The seat sports the classic logo of the San Francisco Municipal Railway and is apparently intended "for Cable Car riders." It currently has zero bids on eBay, possibly because of the steep, collectors-only starting bid price of $100 — or the equivalent of 50 actual Muni rides to work.

For the especially hurried, you can buy it now for about the same price as two monthly Fast Passes. Move quickly, folks! Unlike you at the bus stop in the morning, we can't imagine this one will be waiting around for too long.
