A man remains in critical condition today after a hit-run incident at 10th and Division in SoMa early Sunday morning.

The victim, aged 25 to 30, was crossing the street in the area of 10th and Division streets about 2:45 a.m. when he was struck by a white Volkswagen Passat, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries that at the time were said to be life threatening, but as of Monday morning, his condition has improved, although he remains in the hospital, Esparza said.

No arrests have been made. Anyone eyewitnesses or those who know said Passat driver are asked to call SFPD at 415-575-4444 or via text at TIP411.
