Early Thursday morning, a shooting in the Outer Mission along Alemany prompted a standoff with the SWAT team. According to SF Appeal, here's what went down first:

Responding officers located a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg in the area of Alemany Boulevard and Farragut Avenue at about 3:10 a.m., Sgt. Eric O’Neal said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, according to O’Neal.

The suspect didn't flee far from the scene. KTVU has more:

SWAT officers had surrounded a recreational vehicle in the area of Alemany Boulevard and Farragut Avenue in the pre-dawn hours after the suspect was tracked there from a nearby shooting scene.

The suspect was eventually talked into surrendering peacefully by an officer during cell phone conversations.

Whew.
