The first full length trailer for the most recent version of Godzilla was unleashed on the internet Tuesday, with predictably breathless results (An apparent 69,400 news reports at publication time, wow).
We should point out that you won't be surprised to see that San Francisco gets the crap kicked out of it, yet again, following in the anti-SF steps of X-Men: The Last Stand, Pacific Rim (which is practically Godzilla, anyways), It Came From Beneath The Sea, Hulk, and oh so many others. San Francisco is fun to destroy, it seems.
The full trailer, for your enjoyment, is below. But before you get too pumped up for the film's anticipated May 16 release, consider the words of chef/raconteur Richie Nakano:
Remember how excited people got for the Matthew Broderick Godzilla? Yeah.
