After a brief test run last year, noted toast emporium The Mill on Divisadero has announced they'll be expanding their lineup of doughy items when they roll out a weekly pizza night every Monday starting in March.
Like Arizmendi, the Mission's bakery/extremely limited pizza joint, the Mill's Josey Baker will only be doing one type of pie per week during limited hours from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays. Whole pies will be going for $20 and individual slices will run you $2.50 — which astute observers will note is actually a dollar less than a slice of toast. Surely that says something about something.
The first pizza night happens March 3rd and the topping of the week will be roasted garlic and chicories. Subsequent pies will be decorated with peppers and onions, mushrooms and asparagus, spicy broccoli, and leek & potato.
Also, if you're looking for more reasons to enjoy the happening stretch of Divisadero, Josey Baker and company will be throwing a party with the folks from Nopa this Saturday from 6-9 p.m.
