Two men heading to a nearby market in the Tenderloin were repeatedly stabbed on Wednesday. The incident happened at around 2 a.m. near Ellis and Leavenworth.

"The victims were walking to a market when two suspects approached and confronted them," reports KTVU. "During the confrontation, one suspect took out a knife and stabbed the men. One of the victims tried to run away but was chased down by the suspects, who continued to stab him."

The man stabbed several times is in critical condition.

The two suspects -- reported to be "Hispanic men between 25 and 30 years old" with one "wearing a baseball cap, a white hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans" and the other one sporting "a vest, white T-shirt and jeans" -- took off. No arrest have been made.
