Over near the intersection of Page and Cole in the Upper Haight, a 68-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint by a young, not-so-nice man. The victim was walking around the area at 7:30 am when the suspect approached her and asked for the time. As she checked her phone, the thief grabbed for her purse. She managed to walk away. Alas, she wasn't yet out of harm's way.

SF Examiner reports: "A block later the suspect approached again, this time wielding a knife and demanded the victim's purse, police said. The victim gave her purse to the suspect, who still wasn't satisfied and demanded her phone, which she also turned over to the crook."

The suspect, described as a man between the ages of 18 to 20, fled westbound on Page. No arrests have been made.
