On Saturday, June 1st an alleged kidnapping attempt occurred on the 1000 block of Broadway (at Jones). It seems that a white van followed a 24-year-old woman as she walked home. A man apparently jumped out of the van, threw her to the ground, and stole her money as he tried getting her inside the van.

SFist talked to SFPD who told us that the incident occurred at 2 am. A male eyewitness reportedly corroborated seeing the van. The victim, though uninjured, had her money taken from her, it seems.
