We know you're supposed to be pro-marijuana just to be allowed to live in this town, but maybe a couple of pot dealers took things a little too far over the weekend. A 25-year-old man was assaulted around 11 p.m. Friday in the Upper Haight after telling a pair of weed dealers that he wasn't interested in buying any weed, because he didn't like it. The two suspects punched and kicked the victim multiple times, causing injury and lacerations to his face, before fleeing on foot.

The incident happened near the corner of Haight Street and Buena Vista Avenue West. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, and the victim has only described them as white men of an uncertain age.

The victim's injuries were non-life-threatening, and we're sure Park Station Captain Greg Corrales will spin this one in an amusing manner in this week's newsletter.
