We know that many of you were bummed that the annual Hunky Jesus Contest was rained out on Easter Sunday. But all those strapping, shirtless Jesuses presumably still have their beards and loin cloths in preparation for The Second Coming of the contest, which has now been confirmed for April 19 at DNA Lounge.

Obviously it won't be quite as fun when there aren't any Easter bonnets and no Dolores Park picnicking to be done. But the spirit of the contest will surely be there, and all the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will be in full face. Also, the DJs from Go Bang! will be spinning, and there will be live performances by Love Charisse, Dottie Lux, Monistat, and others.

It's going to have to be a ticketed event, though, since it's at DNA. Advance tickets are $8 to $17 (sliding scale) if you get them now at dnalounge.com. They'll be $10 to $20 at the door, and will go to benefit the Sisters' work in the community.
