Over the weekend, a student at St. Mary's college was sexually assaulted inside of her dorm room. The student reportedly met her assailant in Berkeley and invited him back to the Moraga campus. He then attacked her once inside her room. The assault occurred between 3 and 6:30 a.m.
"This is not an incident where a student or someone else was stalking or lurking on the campus," Saint Mary's spokesman Mike McAlpin explained during a press conference. "This was a betrayal of trust. The young woman invited the man onto the campus with her. Her trust was breached."
So far, not much of a description of the attacker had been released. According to KRON 4 Morning News, he has been only described as a "white man in his 20s."
